The owner was very friendly and helpful. Architecture - stunning house. The suite bathroom was fabulous including a bath as well as shower! the decor was traditional and furniture very tasteful. Location great - walking distance to all sites and restaurants in town.
The mattress was very firm, however this seemed to be our experience everywhere in France! The church bells whilst very romantic and a delight to hear outside where not so welcomed inside, all through the night.

The situation of the townhouse was very picturesque in the medieval town square. The design and decoration of the interior was magnificent but simple, it was the most beautiful room I have stayed in, better than many 5* hotels I have visited. There were lovely toiletries in the large ensuite bathrooms and tea and coffee available in the rooms. The owner/manager who waited for us to arrive as we were very late, could not have been kinder or more helpful. He even booked us a local restaurant and drove us round there as it was almost their closing time. I would love to go back and stay longer next time. You would need to have an interest in the countryside or history of the area to benefit from a holiday here or simply to hide away in this boutique guest house and eat and drink the local produce would be perfect too!

Wonderful location in the heart of this superb medieval town. Big room + bathroom with coffee + tea making facilities Comfy bed and very quiet. Lovely walled garden - bring you own beer ! Good breakfast but the cassette type coffee machine wants throwing away and replacing with a nice big jug of freshly percolated coffee.
Very minor quibbles. The Booked.net write up says credit cards accepted but the owner only accepts cheques/cash. This could be a problem for foreign visitors. There's no parking because of the location but easy on-street parking nearby.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this luxurious hotel. The location, right across from the beautiful church, was perfect. The service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations, and the housekeeping was top-notch. The room amenities, including the ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and comfortable sitting area, were greatly appreciated. We also loved the terrace and garden furniture, where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel offered a wide range of services, including tours assistance and a shuttle service. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and ensuring that all our needs were met. We also enjoyed the delicious meals at the dining restaurant and the packed lunches provided for our day trips. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made our stay truly memorable.

Sumptuous breakfasts, the stay was excellent!
Nothing to complain about, the hotel suited the needs. The breakfast offered a lot of fantastic meals. The personnel was excellent and lovely, doing their best to assist. Greatly enjoyed the location in the centre of the old town. The place was just next door to La Bisquine, where you can have dinner.

The rooms at Le Jardin Des Lys are absolutely incredible! I stayed in a suite that had a lovely seating area where I could relax and unwind. The lounge area with the marble fireplace was so cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to snuggle up with a book. And let's not forget about the private bathrooms! They were spacious and had either a luxurious bath or an Italian shower. It was pure bliss to indulge in a long soak after a day of exploring. Plus, each room came equipped with a flat-screen TV, a courtesy tray, and free Wi-Fi access. I even had a kettle in my room to make a nice cup of tea. It's the little touches like these that made my stay here feel like a true home away from home.
Personally, I found that I didn't make much use of the flat-screen TV in the room. But hey, that's just me!

We stayed at a wonderful boutique hotel in the centre of town with a beautiful location directly opposite the magnificent old church. the room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed, while the bathroom was large and included a separate shower. the friendly owner provided fantastic service and a lovely breakfast each morning. We especially enjoyed the walled garden and the nearby shops and watermills. Highly recommended with great price-quality ratio.
Having to be aware of the churchbell which rang frequently, potentially disturbing light sleepers.

I recently spent Easter in a little getaway in a charming medieval town. The hotel had the best pastries and breakfast options. The prime location right by the stunning church added to the charm. , the complimentary chocolates and macaroons were a sweet touch to the experience.
There was nothing I disliked about the hotel.
